Overview

Eurocommercial has a unique position in the Dutch media landscape thanks to its database of more than 7 million viewers, which grows daily as people make new choices about what to watch. This continuous flow of fresh data allows Eurocommercial to build one of the most accurate pictures of viewing behavior in the Netherlands.

With streaming and Video On Demand (VOD) becoming dominant in how people consume content, many media companies found it difficult to gain a reliable understanding of the market. Bindinc realized that they were in a unique place to provide these insights and wanted to translate their knowledge into a tool that could help media companies make faster, smarter decisions.

The Challenge

The biggest challenge was the lack of transparency in the Dutch streaming and VOD market. Media companies were facing an increasingly fragmented environment with different platforms, shifting viewer preferences, and limited access to actionable data.

Bindinc needed to move quickly. Their goal was to create a minimum viable product (MVP) that combined their catalog data with detailed viewer panel data. The dashboard had to be both technically robust and easy to use for non-technical users, offering instant value to clients exploring the VOD market.
